About OpenBoxes
OpenBoxes is an open-source warehouse management system (WMS) designed to manage inventory and track stock movements. Originally built for healthcare supply chains, it now supports general warehouse, receiving, shipping, and demand-planning workflows.
It provides inventory control, lot and expiry tracking, purchase orders, stock counts, and reporting, with a web interface and REST API. It is used by hospitals, NGOs, and logistics operations to keep stock levels accurate.
Released under EPL-1.0 and actively developed, OpenBoxes is a proven self-hosted inventory solution for demanding environments.
