About SFTPGo
SFTPGo is a multi-protocol file transfer server that provides SFTP, HTTP/S, FTP/S, and WebDAV access from a single platform with a unified web administration panel. It supports local filesystem storage, encrypted local storage, and cloud storage backends including S3-compatible object storage, Google Cloud Storage, and Azure Blob Storage.
Users and admins get a web-based interface for file management, sharing, and administration. Share links support passwords and expiration. Virtual folders let you present multiple storage locations as a unified directory structure. Activity is fully audited: every file transfer is logged with user, file, timestamp, and IP address. The Community Edition is AGPLv3 licensed and suitable for production use. The Enterprise Edition adds high-performance S3 streaming, native IMAP email ingestion, PGP encryption, antivirus/DLP via ICAP, in-browser document editing, and advanced SSO with commercial support.
