Cloudflare OS
AI-powered workspace for creating documents, building apps, and running agents with your company's context.
About Cloudflare OS
Cloudflare OS is an open-source AI productivity environment originally built for use inside Cloudflare, where much of the workforce relies on it daily. It combines an agent chat interface, sandboxed application development, and a security framework so teams can safely build documents, apps, and automations with AI using their own company context and systems.
Instead of traditional SaaS, Cloudflare OS is built around Gadgets: small, private applications where every user runs their own copy. Each Gadget runs in an isolated sandbox and can be freely modified by prompting an agent to add features. A capability-based security layer called Gatekeepers governs every connection to external services, enforcing least-privilege access, logging every action, and letting humans approve side effects in bulk on their own schedule.
Built on Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects, and Dynamic Workers, Cloudflare OS works with many major AI model providers as well as self-hosted models. Because it runs on the open-source workerd runtime, the entire stack can be self-hosted on your own servers. It is an early-access project under active development.
